Clean+Clear® Water Purification System Advantages

The clean design and superior engineering of the Clean+Clear® Water Purification products gives you even more for your money with:

WaterSolver delivers fresh, healthy, greattasting, bacteria-free water and reduces contaminants
  • In addition to filtering numerous and various contaminants and hazardous wastes from your drinking water, the efficiency of the Clean+Clear® ceramic filtration Systems is also certified for bacteriological removal - including E.coli.
  • The Clean+Clear® Point of Entry, or POE, Water Filtration System is more cost effective and efficient to operate than Reverse Osmosis, or RO, whole house filtration systems.
  • The Clean+Clear® Point of Use, or POU, Water Filtration System is more cost effective and efficient to operate than traditional faucet and under-sink filtration systems such as those offered by Pur®.
  • The Clean+Clear® Water Purification Systems significantly cleanse water of poor color, bad odor and poor taste. In addition, both systems effectively filter the contaminants and hazardous materials.
  • Bacteriological filtering capacity of the Clean+Clear® ceramic filter elements were independently tested by Analytical Food Laboratories and Johns Hopkins:
    • The first test demonstrated C+C filter's capacity to block 100% of generic E.coli bacteria
    • The second test demonstrated C+C filter's capacity to block 99.8% of the E.coli 0157:H7 bacteria in particular. This strain of E.coli is known to be pathogenic to humans as it produces a powerful toxin, and is a leading cause of food-borne illness.
Clean+Clear® Water Purification Systems offers many other important and distinctive features and benefits:
  • No moving parts. There is nothing to maintain until the filter cartridge needs to be replaced
  • No electricity is required. There are no electronic controllers, no switching valves, and no diaphragms to fail.
  • No back flushing required. Some competitors filters require back flushing; this can waste up to 38,000 gallons of water per year back flushing just one hour per week at 12 gallons per minute
  • No loss of water pressure. Some competitors filters result in a significant drop in water pressure, resulting in lower flow rates and higher per gallon filtration costs.
  • No bacteria buildup. The water storage tanks in reverse osmosis, or RO, systems are an ideal breeding ground for many types of bacteria/bio-film. In most residential RO systems, this growth can significantly affect the quality of the purified water.
  • Consistently effective filtration over the life of the filter cartridge. Some competitors products use a pressed block filter element, and water will create pathways as it flows through the pressed block. These become paths of least resistance, and water will continue to flow through these same pathways rather than through other areas of the pressed block. The filter employs a loose filter element design. Water is distributed evenly throughout the filter element and is in contact with the filter bed at all times - all water is filtered and the entire filter element is fully utilized.
  • Extended filter life. The typical life of C+C POE filter is 100,000+ gallons. The typical life of C+C POU filter is 2,000+ gallons, as compared to the 100-gallon useful life of leading competitor's filters. WaterSolver filters 4-football fields of water!
  • Safe, easy, and quick, filter replacement. All Water Purification filter cartridges are a sealed, one-piece element, so there is no contact with captured contaminants. In addition, the patented Purification housing design allows for quick and easy filter replacement.
  • The Clean+Clear® HCS system employs a quick connect filter manifold with an integrated water shut off valve, so installation of a separate water shut off valve is not required. With the quick connect design, no tools required to replace the filter. With a quarter turn of the single lever - large enough to easily and conveniently turn by hand - the water supply is automatically shut off and the filter cartridge housing is released from the filter manifold. The used cartridge can be lifted out and a new cartridge inserted. Slide the filter cartridge back into contact with the filter manifold; and as the lever is hand turned back to the operating position the filter cartridge housing is drawn tight to the manifold and the water supply is automatically turned back on.
